    The CDS checks the data filed and its compatibility with the description system. Other tools and services maintained by the CDS :
    – SIMBAD: a database of astronomical objects outside the solar system.
    – VizieR: astronomy catalogs.
    – Aladin: an interactive visualization tool for astronomy images.

  • Volume No volume limit for the deposit of data when using the VizieR service. In case of large datasets, it is necessary to contact the CDS.
  • Comments

    CDS requires users to submit a ReadMe file for each uploaded data set. See here for the required content of the ReadMe file.
    Users without an account are identified by their IP address – access to storage will be lost if they change computers.
